The subject areas are open, but they definitely concern the areas of urban and regional development, mobility up to digitalization, Smart Region, intermunicipal cooperation in the Lienz valley floor, downtown development, environmental protection, culture, and social cohesion, etc. The "City:Labor" explores with small andlarge projects the question of "How do we want to live, work, do business, maintain social and cultural community in the future in the Sun City and region?"

The technical equipment, furniture and the first two curations were funded by the European Union as an IWB project.

Cooperation and

In the sunny city of Lienz, participation programs and projects have a long tradition. Successfully, projects such as district heating, the city market, the gradual development of the city center areas, projects on air quality and environmental protection, civil defense and disaster protection, etc. have been shaped together with the population. But also many smaller everyday issues and problems in urban coexistence such as questions of security and cleanliness, planting and greening in public spaces, and much more were resolved or shaped in collaboration with the affected citizens.Interaction with the affected citizens has been resolved or shaped.

The Sun City is doing well in the city competition today. In order to consolidate forces, in 2016 a separate department for location development, economy, and marketing was formed from the former "City Marketing Lienz". On average, the city community invites to up to 30 meetings, sessions, work discussions, etc. per year and has so far used various meeting and conference rooms in the Liebburg.
