The city of Lienz endeavors to make its website lienz.gv.at in accordance with § 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 to implement the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327 of 2.12.2016, p. 1) accessible in an accessible manner.

Enforcement procedure

If the answers from the above-mentioned contact option are not satisfactory, you can lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman for Barrier-Free Internet and Mobile Applications of the State of Tyrol. The complaint will be examined to determine whether there has been a violation of the provisions of § 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act by the authorities of the state, the municipalities, the municipal associations, and the self-governing bodies established by state law. If the complaint is justified, the Ombudsman has to issue recommendations to the stateor the entities concerned and to propose measures aimed at eliminating the deficiencies identified.
