The City Utilities Lienz is an economic enterprise of the city of Lienz and comprises three divisions:

Water - the supply of drinking and utility water (waterworks)

Regional network - Passive broadband infrastructure as well as communication and electrical engineering (including the areas of responsibility currently transferred by the municipal council - currently "street lighting")

The City Utilities Lienz not only supply the citizens of the city with high-quality and affordable drinking water, but also operate a machine locksmith, provide an ultra-fast fiber optic network up to the property line, and now also maintain the city"s street lighting.

The bodies of the company are the municipal council, the city council, the administrative committee, the mayor, and the management.

Regional network

The city of Lienz, together with 14 other municipalities in the Lienz valley floor as members of the planning association 36 Lienz and surroundings, has decided to work closely together under the title "Future Space Lienz Valley Floor" as an economic and living location. Based on this premise, a state-of-the-art fiber optic network has been installed in all association municipalities.
