Committees

The local council can set up “standing committees” for commercial companies, for companies with market-related activities and for individual areas of administration. “Non-permanent committees” can also be set up for individual areas of administration. The municipal council determines the tasks and the number of committee members. The members and any substitute members of the committees are elected by the municipal council from among the members and substitute members of the municipal council. Only members of the municipal council may be elected to the review committee and committees for companies with market-related activities and commercial enterprises (administrative committee of Lienz municipal utilities).
