In the outdoor pool with 20,000 m² of sunbathing lawns, our bathers have access to 4 heated swimming pools. The outdoor pool of the Dolomitenbad Lienz offers a 50 m sports pool, a large multi-purpose and non-swimmer pool, a 4 m deep diving pool with 1 and 3 meter diving towers, a varied play and water world with a mountain stream for the little guests, 2 beach volleyball courts, and a breathtaking 60 m long water slide with spins and tunnels. Around the Dolomitenbad Lienz there are approximately 250 free parking spaces with E-charging station from TIWAG

Special regulations for bathers: free rides and discounted tickets with the VVT-Bäderbus to Tristacher See and Dolomitenbad Lienz.

can drive to the train station and change there to "Line 1" or "2". As in previous years, the following rule applies to all bathers: Those who can present a valid season ticket for the city"s swimming facilities, a Lienz sports pass, or an annual pass for the Dolomitenbad when traveling to the Lienz baths will ride the bath bus for free until September 5, 2023. The respective authorization card must be presented to the bus driver when boarding. There is also a special solution again for all bathers who purchase a day, half-day, or short bathing ticket at the Lienz outdoor pools. Until September 1, they only pay the one-way journey to the baths in the Sun City amounting to 1.30 euros, seniors, people with disabilities, and young people only 0.80 euros. However, this only applies if you have your bus ticket stamped at the entrance or exit of the Tristacher See beach or the Dolomitenbad at the cash desk. Presenting the stamped ticket entitles the bather to a free return journey. können zum Bahnhof zu fahren und dort in die „Linie 1“ oder „2“ umsteigen. Wie schon in den Vorjahren gilt für alle Badegäste folgende Mitnahmeregelung: Wer bei seiner Fahrt zu den Lienzer Bädern eine gültige Saisonkarte der städtischen Badeanlagen, einen Lienzer Sportpass oder eine Jahreskarte für das Dolomitenbad vorweisen kann, fährt mit dem Bäderbus bis zum 5. September 2023 gratis. Die jeweilige Berechtigungskarte ist beim Einstieg dem Busfahrer vorzulegen. Eine Sonderlösung gibt es auch wieder für alle Badegäste die ein Tages-, Halbtages- oder Kurzbadeticket in den Lienzer Freibädern lösen. Sie zahlen bis 1. September nur die Hinfahrt zu den Bädern der Sonnenstadt in Höhe von 1,30 Euro, Senioren, Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung und Jugendliche nur 0,80 Euro. Dies gilt allerdings nur, wenn man sein Busticket beim Eintreten bzw. Verlassen des Strandbades Tristacher See oder des Dolomitenbades an der Kassa abstempeln lässt. Der Vorweis des markierten Tickets berechtigt den Badegast zur kostenlosen Rückfahrt.
