Arrival by public transport

Special regulations for bathers: Free rides and discounted tickets with the VVT bath bus to Tristacher See and Dolomitenbad Lienz.

Between July 5 and August 31, 2025, the Lienz Regiobuses with lines 1, 2, and 3 also serve as transportation to the city bathing facilities and back.

With the start of the summer timetable of the Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT) on Saturday, July 5, until August 31, all holders of season tickets for the city bathing facilities, owners of an annual pass for the Dolomitenbad, as well as users of a Lienzer sports pass can again use all lines of the Regiobus Lienz for free to get to the city bathing facilities or back home. The respective authorization cards must be presented to the bus driver when boarding.

Bathers without the mentioned cards can have the VVT single ticket purchased for the journey to the city bathing facilities stamped at the entrance to the Dolomitenbad or the Tristacher See beach at the cash desk. Presenting the stamped ticket entitles the bather to a free return trip.

Adults pay 1.50 euros for a single ticket, children 0.80 euros. Seniors, teenagers, and holders of an Austrian disability pass pay 1 euro for the ride. In addition, there is the Family Ticket (2 adults + all children under 15 years registered in the Euregio FamilyPass) for 1.50 euros and the Family Light Ticket (1 adult + all children under 15 years registered in the Euregio FamilyPass) for 1 euro.
