The recycling center of the city of Lienz, with disposal options for recyclables, bulky waste, old wood, packaging, hazardous waste collection, and the acceptance of small quantities of construction waste, is the central hub for a modern, supervised recycling and disposal with citizen-oriented opening hours.

Around 20,000 people use the services of the recycling center each year and significantly support the intention of waste prevention and separation with their commitment.

In the recycling center, you can also purchase residual waste bags, compost bin liners, waste oil collection containers, and garden waste bags. A document shredder is available for the disposal of documents, bank statements, etc. The Lions Lienz service club complements the public waste collection with the project "Flea market from the wagon" and offers a flea market for well-preserved items, connecting a meaningful reuse of items with a social background.
