Social affairs and family

The city of Lienz offers comprehensive information to its citizens in the social sector. For service reasons, the department "Social Affairs and Family" is now located on the ground floor of the town hall.

Applications such as housing and rent subsidies, heating cost assistance, minimum security, school starting money, SoLaLi shopping card, and others are processed here. Furthermore, the case workers are happy to assist with application procedures for the approval and increase of care allowance or disability IDs, as well as applications for home registration and home cost financing.

The staff of the department "Social Affairs and Family" are also available for matters concerning municipal kindergartens.

Wheelchair users and users of walking aids or parents with strollers can reach the department, which is integrated in the Citizen Service, from the south side of the town hall - through the entrance from Europaplatz.
