Construction and Traffic

The tasks of the employees of the building authority include, in addition to the areas of building, traffic, and event law, the care of city-owned high and underground buildings as well as the areas of spatial planning, urban development, urban and local image protection, fire police, and geoinformation.

General

Instruments of spatial planning, in connection with traffic planning, geoinformation, and urban and local image protection, provide the basis for urban development and urban planning. Municipal building projects, such as high-rise buildings, road construction, square designs, and sewer construction, are developed and supervised by us until completion.

The city building authority is, among other things, your contact for the following areas:

Spatial Planning: Rezoning and issuance of development plans, dedication information

Building Law: Building permits and notifications, approvals according to the urban and local image protection law, fire police regulations

Road Traffic: Work on and next to the road, use of streets for non-traffic purposes (especially events and beer gardens), regulations according to the Road Traffic Regulations in the municipality"s area of responsibility

Event Law: Registration of single and recurring events

Taxes: Tax assessments in connection with construction projects and spatial planning matters, second home and vacancy tax

City-owned high and underground construction projects including bridges and sewerage
