ARTIFICIAL ICE RINK CLOSED!

At the Lienz ice rink, you can indulge in the popular outdoor sport of ice skating. Rental skates are available at the ice rink counter. The ice arena is always open on Mondays from 9:00 to 17:30, from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:30, on Saturdays and Sundays as well as on public holidays from 10 to 18 o"clock. During school holidays, the ice rink also opens on weekdays at 10 o"clock.

However, on weekends, restrictions can be expected due to ice hockey games and training sessions.

Two Lienz clubs, UEC Lienz and Eichholz TURTLES, play their championship games at the facility on Pustertaler Straße.

Opening hours and championship games

The current opening hours are posted on the notice board at the ice rink. Information on closures or championship games is visible.

Please note: Short-term changes due to current weather conditions or game rescheduling are possible.

Bitte Eisfläche nicht betreten!  Auf Osttirols einzigem Badesee kann man im Winter auch herrlichen Natureislauf genießen. Je nach Witterung tummeln sich von Anfang Jänner bis Anfang März 2024 auf der bis zu 50 cm dicken und bis zu 50.000 m² großen Eisdecke nicht nur Eissportler, auch Winterwanderer genießen die einzigartige Kulisse. Die Mitarbeiter der Abteilung Sport und Freizeit der Stadtgemeinde Lienz sorgen für die Pflege der Eisfläche. Das Eislaufen auf der Natureisbahn Tristacher See ist free und erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr. Schlittschuhe können an der Kunsteislaufanlage Pustertaler Straße in Lienz während der Öffnungszeiten ausgeliehen werden. Die Freigabe der Eislaufflächen erfolgt durch die Abteilung Sport und Freizeit je nach gemessener Eisdicke.
