Dem Administrative committee of Stadtwerke Lienz obliegen die Vorberatung und Antragstellung in allen Angelegenheiten, die der Beschlussfassung durch den Municipal council oder Stadtrat vorbehalten sind. Damit stellt der Verwaltungsausschuss das politische Steuerungsorgan für einen der wichtigsten Infrastrukturträger der Stadt dar. Er genehmigt die Jahresabschlüsse, budgetiert Projekte und Programme für die Erweiterung, Instandhaltung des Wassernetzes und sorgt damit für die beschlussmäßigen Voraussetzungen, damit das Trinkwasser für die Stadtgemeinde die beste Qualität aufweist. Je nach Bedarf tagt der Administrative committee of Stadtwerke Lienz 5 bis 6 Mal im Jahr.
