Illustration Dog Tax

Dog Tax

Basically, a fee must be paid for keeping dogs. The amount and regulations or deadlines for the dog tax are regulated differently in each federal state. There are also exemption reasons - guide dogs for the blind are exempt from taxation, but registration is required. Single persons over 60 years of age who run their own household are also completely exempt from the dog tax for one dog upon request. A one-time, oral application is sufficient.
