Official Signature

In the context of a continuous electronic process handling, the city of Lienz can affix an official signature to its transactions. This makes it clear that it is an official document of the municipality. The official signature allows the origin and authenticity of a document to be verified.

The official signature consists of according to § 19 E-Gov Law:

  • a logo
  • the indication that the document has been officially signed, as well as
  • Information for verifying the electronic document and its printouts.
