Tree sponsorship

The Sun City Lienz is one of the greenest cities in Tyrol and strives to preserve the green dress of the city. Trees are meeting points for young and old, for big and small. They embrace oases of relaxation and provide habitat for animals and other organisms. Furthermore, they serve as a link between nature and humans and make a significant contribution to our climate.

Tree sponsorship in Lienz: Trees for a green future

On the map below, you can choose a tree for a tree sponsorship and reserve it by using a form that must be sent to the Department of Forestry and Garden.

Das Einsetzen der Bäume erfolgt jeweils im Herbst oder Frühjahr. Sie werden durch die Abteilung Forst & Garten verständigt, bevor Ihr Baum gepflanzt wird und eingeladen, an diesem Ereignis teilzunehmen. Sobald dies erfolgt ist, wird Ihnen eine Urkunde zu Ihrem Baum ausgehändigt.

Zielsetzung des Interreg-Projektes ist es, dass die BürgerInnen zum Thema Biodiversität & Klimawandel sensibilisiert werden, die Biodiversität in den Städten hinsichtlich der Klimawandelanpassung bei Grünflächengestaltung gesteigert wird und die Artenvielfalt gefördert wird.
