Blooming Surprise for Winners of the Lienz Rose Market

Blooming Surprise for Winners of the Lienz Rose Market

From 2,500 prize cards that were submitted at the 7th Lienz Rose Market at Johannesplatz in Lienz, eleven winners were drawn. The main prize stays in Lienz this year.

The rose in the coat of arms of the Lienz represents the bourgeoisie and can be found in many places in the city community. An exclusive Lienz Rose has even been bred, which is only available from the gardeners and florists of the Sun City.

The popularity of this flower was once again evident at the 7th Rose Market at the end of June at Johannesplatz. Although the first day was very rainy, numerous people still came to the magnificent rose garden on both days, which bloomed in the middle of the old town.

However, not only were people amazed and made purchases, but also prize cards were filled out. Around 2,500 cards were filled out and the eleven lucky winners have now been drawn.

The main prize, a voucher worth 200 euros, redeemable at one of the participating local specialist shops, went to Maria Steger from Lienz.

The other winners, who can look forward to a voucher for a popular Lienz rose bush, are Lisa Rainer, Stefan Rindler, Helga Winkler, and Anna Maria Holzer from Lienz, as well as Linda Faistenauer and Renate Oberlaner from Assling, Aurelia Strolz from Matrei, Andrea Wasserfaller-Heller from Graz, Simone Trojer from Außervillgraten, and Monika Klocker from Dölsach.
